Karachi: The Sindh Education Department has announced a holiday in all private and government schools, colleges and universities from February 6 to 9.
Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh Justice Retired Maqbool Baqir has approved the summary of holidays after which private and public educational institutions in the province will remain closed from February 6 to 9.

Election Commission officials will take control of schools to make them polling stations and it has also been proposed to install CCTV cameras in sensitive polling stations.
It should be noted that the government of Sindh has given holidays from February 6 to 9, but practically, private schools will remain closed from Saturday 3 to Sunday 11 February.
It should be noted that the government has already announced a holiday on February 5 as Kashmir Day.
