Islamabad: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Islamabad has announced a 4-day holiday in the federal capital in view of the elections scheduled on February 8, 2024.
According to the notification issued by DC Islamabad, all educational institutions in Islamabad will remain closed from February 6 to February 9, 2024.
After the approval of Federal Secretary Education, DC Islamabad has issued notification of holidays in educational institutions.
Earlier, the provincial governments of Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had also announced 4-day holidays in educational institutions in view of the elections.
