The Sindh High Court has extended the injunction against the collection of municipal tax in the bills of K Electric.
According to Express News, Sindh High Court heard the petitions of Jamaat-e-Islami and others against inclusion of municipal tax in the bill of K-Electric.
The court extended the injunction against collection of municipal charges in electricity bills till March 5.
It should be noted that the court has issued an injunction on municipal tax through electric bills on petitions. The court had restrained K Electric from collecting municipal charges from citizens through bills.
