The nomination papers can be obtained from the central secretariat or website of PTI from February 1 to 2.
Islamabad: The official schedule of intra-party elections of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has been released, according to which the elections will be held on February 5, Monday.
Federal Election Commissioner of Tehreek-e-Insaf, Rauf Hassan, released the intra-party election schedule.
All registered members of Tehreek-e-Insaaf can vote for the panel or chairman candidate of their choice at designated locations across Pakistan. Party members can also record their vote through the ‘Rabata Application Intra Party Election Module’.
All members registered till January 31, 2024 will be allowed to vote. The details of all the panels participating in the intra-party election will be available on the official website of Tehreek-e-Insaf and Kontakt application.
The detailed procedure of election is explained in the Election Rules, 2020 which is available on the website and Kontakt App. The polling time will be from 10 am to 4 pm on Monday, February 5.
Nomination papers can be obtained from 1st to 2nd February 2024 from PTI central secretariat or website. The last date for submission of nomination papers will be on 2nd February 2024 at 10 PM, Candidates can submit their nomination papers at Central and Provincial Secretariats and digitally through email as well.
Scrutiny of nomination papers of candidates for intra-party election will take place on February 3, 2024. In case the nomination papers are rejected, the time for submission of objections will be till 3 February 2024 at 10 pm.
The lists of all the final panels participating in the intra-party election will be published on the website on February 4 at 4 pm. The results of the intra-party election will be officially announced on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.
