Peshawar: The accused in custody escaped after killing the constable with the government gun in Budh Birchoki.
According to Express News, the accused Mujahid Sukna Sheikhan, who was under custody in Budh Birchoki, went out on the pretext of going to the toilet and took out a gun from Muharr’s room and fired at Constable Amir Ghulam and escaped.
On receiving the information about the incident, SSP Operations Kashif Aftab Abbasi visited the checkpoint and inspected the incident site, on this occasion SP President Division Abdul Salam Khalid informed the SSP Operations about the incident.
SSP Kashif Aftab Abbasi said that a large-scale search operation is underway in the area to arrest the accused, while departmental action will be taken against the negligent officials.
