Karachi: Police have arrested 18 more workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on charges of rioting, violence against police and vandalizing of government vehicles at Tin Talwar area of Clifton.
Spokesperson SSP South District said that the arrests have been made under the case registered in the Freire police station while more arrests are being made in this regard.
According to the spokesman, the accused have been arrested from different areas of the city after being identified in digital evidence obtained from the spot.

It should be noted that during the rally held by PTI at Clifton Tin Talwar area of Karachi on Sunday, the workers clashed with the police, where several people including SHO Bot Besan and a woman police officer were injured.
The police used water cannon on the PTI workers and detained the infected workers and shifted them to an undisclosed location while the cameramen and reporters of various TV channels who were there for the coverage were also subjected to torture.
Later, the police registered a case of the incident under other provisions including terrorism.
