Karachi: In Sindh, video link system has been launched in jails for online appearance of prisoners.
An important step in judicial history was taken in the province, which solved the major problem of appearance of prisoners. Chief Justice Sindh High Court Justice Aqeel Ahmad Abbasi inaugurated the video link system in the jail.
According to the announcement issued by the Sindh High Court, the video link system was introduced for the prisoners from the jails related to the reforms in the judicial system of the Chief Justice Sindh High Court Justice Aqeel Ahmad Abbasi. He inaugurated the video link system in the jail. Justice Nimatullah Phalputo was also present on this occasion.
After the video link system, prisoners will now appear in court through video link from jails, which will enable faster disposal of cases. Video link appearance of prisoners will also save transportation costs.
The security problems arising from bringing the prisoners to court from the jails will also be solved. The system of appearance in cases through video link will be brought across the province. A one-window system for obtaining certified copies of court decisions has also been introduced, which will benefit lawyers and civilians.
According to the statement, the Board of Revenue will be worked on for speedy and quick verification of property documents submitted as collateral so that the hurdles in the verification process for lawyers and salesmen can be removed.
The aim of these steps of the Sindh High Court is to provide timely justice to the citizens.
