Lahore: Maryam Nawaz, the chief organizer of Muslim League (N), has said that Nawaz Sharif wants to contest the election not for himself, but for the sake of the nation, that the nation is facing problems at the moment.
Addressing the general meeting of PML-N in Anarkali, Lahore, he said that Nawaz Sharif was disqualified for not taking salary from his son. Nawaz Sharif is a servant of the nation. Flour is cheap.
He said that we are not competing with any political party, we are not the people of Nomai, we are the people of May 28. There is a great history in both the dates. If you want, only for the sake of the nation, if you want to suffer, only for inflation, excessive electricity bills, five years have come to Lahore and destroyed Lahore.
Maryam Nawaz said that when we had a government, new projects were coming in Lahore every year, now there is no peace here, people should promise me that no one will sit at home in the elections and they will vote for Nawaz Sharif.
