Karachi: Sindh and the federal government have approved the draft memorandum of understanding for the reconstruction and construction of Jahangir, Martin, Clayton and Pakistan Quarters projects.

The draft was prepared in mutual consultation between the Ministry of Housing and Works (Federal Government) and the Sindh Government, which was approved by the caretaker Chief Minister Sindh Justice (R) Maqbool Baqir. An MoU will be signed between Housing and Works (Federal Government), Sindh Government and Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) for implementation of remodeling and development of Jahangir, Martin, Clayton and Pakistan Quarters.

The residential quarters are still there, but in a dilapidated condition, an MoU between the Federal Government, Sindh Government and KMC for the reconstruction of Jahangir, Martin, Clayton and Pakistan Quarters to complete the project. U will be signed, the proposed project will be implemented in phases.

The objective of the MoU is to modernize Jahangir, Martin, Clayton and Pakistan Quarters and improve the provision of all basic amenities to the residents.

The Caretaker Chief Minister of Sindh said that no one will be deprived of housing and all the residents of the quarters will be transferred to new residential buildings. After the transfer, power of attorney will be transferred to the residents. will be given.
