79 people involved in Vigo Dala culture, weapons display and air firing were arrested

Lahore: The police arrested 79 accused for violating the election code of conduct in 7 days. The accused were involved in display of weapons and aerial firing.

According to SP Ahmad Zanir Cheema, Iqbal Town Division Police arrested 79 accused in 07-day crackdown while 02 Kalashnikovs, one rifle, 2 guns, 73 pistols and 289 bullets were recovered from the possession of the accused.

According to the SP, cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway. SP Ahmad Zanir Cheema emphasized that the display of dala culture and weapons is prohibited and strict legal action will be taken against any kind of violation of government orders.
