Lahore: CTD Punjab arrested 11 terrorists during operations in different cities.
According to the spokesman, CTD Punjab conducted 135 operations on the basis of intelligence in various cities in view of terrorism concerns, in which 11 terrorists were arrested. Operations were conducted in Lahore, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Jhang, Narowal and Jhelum.
Officials related to the key TTP commander arrested from Bahawalpur said that he was trained in Afghanistan. The terrorists arrested in various operations were identified as Gul Shadin, Kazim, Nawab, Osama, Ejaz, Zaheer, Mustafa Khan and Rasool Khan etc. Other goods have been recovered.
According to the authorities, the terrorists had planned to attack various institutions. Besides, 80 suspects were arrested during 790 combing operations this week. During this time, 33546 people were questioned.
