Lahore: The High Court issued a written decision to hear the petition against the rejection of the nomination papers, stating that Monis Elahi had provided false information in the nomination papers.
A 3-member bench of the Lahore High Court, headed by Justice Ali Baqer Najafi, issued a 12-page written decision, in which the court said that Monis Elahi had provided wrong information in the nomination papers. Assets have been hidden in the nomination papers, Munis Elahi has been declared as a fugitive and an advertisement.
In its decision, the court said that Munis Elahi is still living abroad. According to the decision of the Returning Officer, Mons Elahi has been advertised in 2 cases while his proposer and confirmer did not appear during the examination.
The Lahore High Court ruled that the court orders to dismiss Monis Elahi’s petition.
It should be noted that Monis Elahi’s move to reject nomination papers from National Assembly Constituency NA-64 Gujarat was challenged.
