Karachi: A five-member committee has been formed to investigate the attack on the Karachi Police Office, which will identify the facilitators, while the case of the incident was registered at the CTD Civil Lines Police Station on the complaint of the SHO President.

According to Express News, IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon has formed a committee to investigate the attack on Karachi Police Office, which will be headed by DIGCTD Zulfiqar Lark.

Apart from this, DIG South and DIG CIA, SSP Tariq Nawaz and in-charge CTD Umar Khattab are also included in the investigation committee. According to the statement, the committee will identify the facilitators of terrorists.

CTD sources say that a case has been registered against three deceased and two other accomplices. Sources say that three terrorists came in a vehicle and were killed in the encounter, but the other two terrorists were on a motorcycle.

On the other hand, Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has expressed fear that ‘an external hand may also be involved in the attack on the Karachi Police Office, this point will also be considered in the investigation’.
