Karachi: In Gulshan-e-Iqbal, the SIU police arrested two operatives of a gang who robbed citizens carrying cash from banks.
SPSIU Irfan Samu said that the SIU arrested the two accused from the service road near Aero Club in Gulshan Iqbal, who used to rob people at gunpoint from people leaving the banks with money.
According to the police, one of the accused’s accomplices used to point out the citizens who came out with cash from inside the banks to his accomplices sitting outside who would return them at the appropriate place.
SIU Police said that in the preliminary investigation, the accused have revealed many incidents in Joharabad, New Karachi, Sohrab Goth, Nagan Chowrangi, Gulshan Iqbal, Landhi, Sachal, Korangi and other areas and two pistols have been recovered from the arrested accused.
