In Punjab’s Pakpattan area, the accused invited his friend to a Milad party and then killed him with a knife.
According to the police, accused Sheikh Shehbaz organized a Milad party at the house in Pir Karian area of Thana City, inviting neighbors and friends to attend.
Sheikh Shehbaz’s friend Salman Vito was also participating in the Milad, then at one point the accused came with a knife in his hand and stabbed the nineteen-year-old friend’s throat.
Eyewitnesses said that 19-year-old Salman died on the spot while other people participating in the celebration overpowered the 20-year-old accused and then handed him over to the police.
The local residents also handed over the instrument used in the murder along with the accused to the police. As soon as the incident was reported, District Police Officer Tariq Wilayat reached the spot and collected the evidence.
