Navjot Singh Sidhu reached Gurudwara Sri Darbar Sahib via Kartarpur Corridor on Wednesday morning. He said that Kartarpur Corridor is a corridor of peace, it has conveyed the message of peace not only in Pakistan and India but to the whole world. This corridor is an important means of increasing trade between the two countries. The volume of trade between Pakistan and India reached only two billion dollars, which can be increased to 37 billion dollars. He said that when there is peace between the two countries, there will be trade, there will be trade, prosperity will come and poverty will end.

Navjot Singh Sindhu said regarding the 20 dollar entry fee that those who are consuming 50, 60 thousand crores in (India) should pay the 20 dollar fee for the poor and deserving pilgrims. He said that there is a need to open the locks of mistrust between Pakistan and India, the language and lifestyle of the people living on both sides of the border is the same. He laughed and said that our insults are also the same.

It should be noted that Navjot Singh Sidhu played an important role in opening the Kartarpur Corridor in 2019 along with then Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Prime Minister Imran Khan who is also a friend of Navjot Singh Sidhu.
