Karachi: The Sindh High Court ordered to provide uninterrupted internet to all citizens till the elections.
The hearing of the case of repeated shutdown and disruption of internet service in the country was heard in the Sindh High Court. During the hearing, it was stated by the petitioner that the internet service was suspended across the country on 17th December, 7th January and 20th January. Internet service has been disrupted for several days continuously across the country.
It has been said in the petition that the candidates are facing difficulties in conducting the election campaign due to the unwarranted shutdown and disruption of the internet service.
Later, the court ordered to provide uninterrupted internet service to all the citizens till the elections.
