Karachi: A motorcycle returning home from a wedding was crushed by a speeding trailer near the Korangi one-and-a-half petrol pump in Shahr Quaid area, as a result of which the mother and daughter died on the spot.
According to the details, two women riding a motorcycle that was hit by a trailer in Korangi No. 1, died on the spot.
According to doctors, the face and head of both the women were badly affected as a result of the accident, as a result of which they died. In the hospital, the dead bodies were identified as 42-year-old Nadia’s wife Niaz and 15-year-old Shamila.
Rescue officials say that initially it is being told that the motorcyclist husband, wife and daughter were going home after attending a wedding ceremony when the tragic incident took place.
After the incident, the angry citizens present at the spot pelted stones on the trailer and broke its windows and then poured petrol on the truck and set it on fire, after which the police reached the spot and dispersed the agitators.
