Peshawar: An order was issued to stop the salaries of 37 women presiding officers who did not participate in the training regarding the elections, while the Provincial Election Commissioner of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has said that there will be re-elections in the constituencies where the rate of women’s votes decreased to less than 10 percent. .
According to the details, the process of training of presiding officers regarding the general elections to be held on February 8 is ongoing across the country.
Taking notice of the absentee from the training of the polling staff in Peshawar, the Provincial Election Commission informed the higher authorities and issued orders to stop the salaries of 37 women presiding officers in the tribal district of Karam.
Meanwhile, while addressing the ceremony held in Peshawar, Provincial Election Commissioner Aziz Bahadur said that all the arrangements for the election to be held on February 8 are complete, all the polling staff including the security personnel are being trained.
He said that the rules and laws will be fully implemented in the elections, if anyone transgresses their responsibility, the law will come into action, in any constituency where the percentage of female votes is less than ten percent, the election will be held again. And if women are prevented from voting or any such agreement comes up, they will take action in that constituency.
