Karachi: The incidents of Karola gang could not be stopped in Shahr Quaid, the armed accused in Gulshan Iqbal fled after robbing a woman of 100,000 riyals, gold and cash.
According to the details, a woman was traveling in a car with her mother and driver in Gulshan Iqbal Block Thirteen D when the accused in a white Corolla car stopped her car and took one lakh riyals, gold, 36 thousand Pakistani rupees, 2 mobile phones and at gunpoint. They snatched the passport and escaped.
The police registered a case number 55/2024 on the complaint of the victim and started investigation, however, the police have not been able to trace the accused involved in the case yet.
The Corolla gang has been robbing passengers leaving the airport for the past several months and then returning to any place in the city to escape.
The police are searching the CCTV of the incident and recording the statements of the victims but are unable to arrest the accused.
