Karachi: The Sindh High Court ordered the recovery of the citizens on the petitions related to the recovery of the missing persons.
According to Express News, the applications related to the recovery of missing persons were heard before a two-member bench headed by Justice Nimatullah Phalphoto. The court declared the police reports regarding the recovery of most of the missing persons unsatisfactory.
Justice Nimatullah Phalphotu remarked that he was given a month’s time, what steps were taken in these days?
The investigating officer said that the letters written to various institutions did not receive any response, on which the court directed the federal interior secretary to intervene in the case of missing persons.
The court remarked that it should be seen where the missing persons went, who took them? The court issued an order to take measures for the recovery of missing citizens Imran, Faizan Ali, Bahadur, Junaid Ahmed, Muhammad Younis, Umeer Zaman, Abdul Hasan, Sadia, Zardad Khan and others.
The court remarked that the petitioners are frustrated that the missing persons have not been traced, the families and lawyers of many of the missing persons have not appeared.
Later the court adjourned the hearing for 4 weeks.
