Islamabad: Caretaker Information Minister Murtaza Solangi has said that no one should have any doubts about the timely conduct of the election, action has been taken on campaigning of judges on social media.

While addressing the press conference, he said that the decision of the Supreme Court came on January 13, after which a campaign was started on social media. The concerned bodies are FIA, PTA and authorized bodies, they are working on it.

Murtaza Solangi said that the purpose of gathering today is to inform you people, by keeping the constitution and the law in front, we are taking action and will continue to do so, since I took the oath, there is a day that I has not said that the country runs on the constitution,

FIA representative Ahmed Shamimzada said that we can take action on contempt of court and other things if someone complains to us. have been born but people need to be made aware.

Ahmad Shamim Pirzada said that people unknowingly share such things which may cause them harm later, we will support everything that is in the interest of the country, those who create chaos through social media. Spreading, want to inform them that FIA cybercrime is active and will take action.

The FIA ​​representative said that as the JIT will do its work and take action against people, we have instructed all our police stations to take action against these accounts.

Meanwhile, while addressing the reform manifesto launch ceremony organized by the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PID) in the federal capital, the Caretaker Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi said that since the caretaker cabinet was sworn in on August 17, 2023. They are constantly saying that the elections will be held at their scheduled time and it is our responsibility to provide support to the Election Commission.

He said that it is written in the preamble of the constitution of Pakistan that this country will be run by its elected representatives. No one should have doubts about the timely conduct of elections. The responsibility of the media regarding the conduct of elections increases more than before. Media also has to do responsible reporting in this regard.

Federal Information Minister said that the country is facing problems and challenges like economy, foreign policy, tax reforms, health, education and population growth. Agriculture accounts for a quarter of the country’s GDP, but the tax collection from this sector is very low.

He said that under Article 140 and 140A of the Constitution of Pakistan, the local governments will be financially, politically and administratively independent. Under the 18th amendment more powers were given to the provinces but these powers could not be transferred to the lower level. The main work of the members of the National and Provincial Assemblies is to legislate and solve the complex problems of the country.

Murtaza Solangi further said that fulfillment of claims and promises is the work of political parties. There is a need for democratic attitudes within political parties, a court ruling a few days ago has set a precedent that there should be elections and democratic attitudes within parties. If there is no democracy within a party, how can it claim democracy in the country? He said that the basic problems of the country should be discussed and the awareness of the people should be increased.
