There are different symbols that can be distinguished, Advocate Election Commission
The Peshawar High Court has remarked about Tehreek-e-Insaf candidates that it is difficult to distinguish between their election symbols and those given such symbols.
A hearing was held in the High Court on a petition filed against the election symbol of PTI leader and former provincial minister Kamran Bangash, a candidate from PK-82 Peshawar.
Advocate petitioner argued that Kamran Bangash has been given the symbol of violin, compared to him the other candidate has been given the symbol of guitar which will look similar to violin on the ballot paper, the name of the other candidate is also Kamran, we have A timely application was made to the Returning Officer to change the election mark which was rejected.
The Vakil Election Commission held that the two symbols are different and can be distinguished.
Justice Ejaz Anwar said to the lawyer Election Commission that did you people do such a thing deliberately, one is to withdraw the marks from them and now the marks allotted are such that it is difficult to differentiate.
Vakil Election Commission pleaded that now the ballot paper has been sent for printing, further delay will be difficult
The court adjourned the hearing while summoning the returning officers.
