Islamabad: An important development has come out in Maulana Masoodur Rehman Usmani’s murder case, the security agencies have arrested two suspects involved in Maulana’s murder.
According to the sources, the Islamabad Police and Civil Sensitive Organization conducted a joint operation to arrest the accused, the two accused who shot Maulana and arranged the plan were arrested.
Sources say that both the accused were arrested during the crackdown in Islamabad, who are related to the banned organization and the accused also had contacts with foreign countries.
Spokesman Islamabad Capital Police has said that the police examined more than 700 videos to arrest the accused, five teams were formed to investigate the case which were working on different aspects, SSP Sahib of Operations Division and The SPs worked hard to trace the accused.
According to the spokesperson, ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan congratulated the investigation team.
