Islamabad: Founder Chairman PTI Imran Khan challenged the jail trial in the Tosha Khana and Al Qadir Trust cases.
Former prime minister and founder of Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan filed petitions in Islamabad High Court against both notifications of jail trial in Tosha Khana and Al-Qadir Trust NAB cases.
In the petitions filed in the High Court, it has been stated that the notification of jail trial was issued on November 14 in the Al-Qadir Trust case. Notification of jail trial in Tosha Khana case was released on 28th November. Jail trial notifications are illegal and malicious.
It is prayed in the petition that the notifications of the jail trial be quashed and the proceedings of the trial court be stayed pending the pendency of the petition.
Chairman NAB and others have been made parties in both the petitions filed by the founder chairman PTI.
