Peshawar: The fire at a private hospital on Hakimullah Jan Road has been brought under control, rescue teams are searching and clearing the building.
According to Express News, a fire broke out in Shireen Shah Hospital located at Daki Nal Bandi Mor on Hakimullah Jan Road.
According to Rescue 1122 sources, there was a fire on the 3rd and 4th floor of the 7-8 storied building, which has been brought under control, 5 fire vehicles, 2 water browsers and 2 ambulances of Rescue 1122 are participating in the fire fighting operation.
According to rescue officials, three patients trapped in the hospital have been rescued from the affected floor and taken to the upper floor. There is a lot of smoke in the building, which smoke ejectors are being used to clear.
Teams of rescue personnel are searching and clearing the building, while a 110-foot snorkel is also being used.
