Karachi: Maripur police raided a hut located on Box Bay Beach and arrested 8 accused who had fired in the air after drinking alcohol.
According to the details, Maripur Police arrested 8 accused Talha, Umar Farooq, Ehsan, Hasan, Osama, Ahmed, Kashan and Haseeb who were drinking marker alcohol and fired in the air at the Hut on Box Bay Beach and recovered 2 pistols, ammunition and 8 bottles of alcohol from their possession.
According to the police, cases have been registered against the arrested accused under Sindh Arms Act and Anti-Narcotics Act. SSP Kemari Arif Aslam Rao said that citizens should enjoy the beach in a civilized manner, but taking the law into their hands and immoral activities will not be allowed at all.
