Karachi: Commissioner Karachi Sohail Rajput has also involved the employees of Interboard Karachi in the matter of transportation of examination papers while not trusting the college teachers and a regular circular has also been issued in this regard.
The Inter Year II Supplementary Examinations which started on Monday 15 January in Karachi will now include CCOVs (Centre Control Officers/College Teachers) along with lower grades staff of the Higher Secondary Education Board Karachi, who are from the Board of Education examination centres. will monitor till delivery of examination papers and bring copies back to the board, apparently this step is being taken for the secrecy of examination papers which is being done on the suggestion of Higher Secondary Education Board Karachi Acting Secretary Haroon Rasheed.
This proposal was given by the secretary board in the meeting of the inter board officers held on January 10 under the chairmanship of the commissioner Karachi. will be present there but the distribution of papers will also be done in front of them in the exam room and the CCOVs will work fully under the vigilance of the board employees.
It should be noted that this is the first time in the recent history of the board that the supervision of CCOVs is being entrusted to board employees.
It should be noted that according to a notification of the Sindh government, currently the charge of the Chairman of Interboard Karachi is with the Commissioner Karachi. It was suggested to send two employees together, which formal approval was also taken from the Commissioner Karachi and the Commissioner Karachi has approved it subject to rules.
However, according to the sources, there is no scope for this in the board rules, on the other hand, the board has established a total of 47 examination centers for the examinations, due to which 94 board employees were to be involved in this process under this decision. It was decided that one employee of the board will be sent with each CCO vehicle and 47 employees will be sent as vigilance at 47 examination centers.
It should be noted that these exams will continue till February 6, which will be held in the afternoon and more than 24,500 students will participate in the exams. “Assistant, Senior Clerk, Junior Clerk, Store Keeper Binder and Data Entry Operator” are included.
