Even before the Republic Day of India, the slogans of Khalistan Zindabad and Sikh Forests have been written on the walls of the capital New Delhi, which has created a frenzy in the Delhi Police.
Slogans of Khalistan Zindabad and SFJ (Sikh Foresters) were seen written on a wall in Pachham Vihar area of New Delhi. On the information of local people, Delhi Police has erased these slogans written on the wall and a case has been registered against unknown persons.
India is celebrating the Republic Day on January 26. In this regard, strict security arrangements are being made in the capital, but despite this, slogans in support of Khalistan are being written on the walls of Delhi.
In February 2022, India banned organizations associated with it, including using the name Khalistan. While in January 2021, the head of Sikh Forests, Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, announced a reward for those who hoisted the Khalistan flag at the Red Fort. This was the time when thousands of farmers were protesting in New Delhi.
Regarding the recent incident, the statement of the Indian police has come out that the controversial wall chalking has been cleared and no accused has been arrested yet.
