Karachi: The process of distribution of tickets by the parties in the general elections 2024 has been completed during which some interesting things have also come to light.
In the upcoming general elections, one brother from Karachi is contesting on the ticket of MQM Pakistan and the other brother is contesting on the ticket of People’s Party.
MQM Pakistan leader and former director general of Sindh Building Control Authority Iftikhar Qaim Khani will contest the election from PS 109 on a kite symbol while his brother Zulfikar Qaim Khani has been issued ticket by PPP from PS 103.
PTI has nominated 3 brothers from the same city as candidates for National and Sindh Assembly seats.
According to the preliminary list released by PTI, former opposition leader in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Shaikh will be PTI’s candidate from NA-238 East while his brother Aleem Adil Shaikh will contest from NA-232 Korangi.
PTI leader’s third brother Naeem Adil Shaikh will contest election from PS 123 Central on the bat sign.
