Defending champion Nasir Al-Attiyah of Qatar won the fifth stage of the Dakar Rally. In the overall standings, the first position of Saudi Arabian driver Yazid Al Rajhi is maintained. In the motorbike category, Chile’s Pablo Conte Nila finished first.
In the fifth stage of the Dakar Rally, the drivers had to cover a distance of 118 kilometers from Al-Hofuf to Shabbe Tah. The drivers showed great skill on the deserts and difficult roads of Saudi Arabia.
Defending champion Nasir Al-Attiyah of Qatar won the stage for his first win of the season.
He covered the prescribed distance in one hour 37 minutes and 25 seconds. Guerlain Cheshart finished second with a difference of one minute and 51 seconds.
In the fifth stage, Kurz Yakopini took the third position, in the overall standings, Saudi Arabia’s Yazid Al-Rajhi is on the first place.
In the motorbike category, Chile’s Pablo Quintanilla finished first. In the overall standings, Argentina’s Luciano is number one.
