Islamabad / Peshawar: Mari Petroleum has discovered gas reserves in North Waziristan region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the statement, the gas was discovered during the drilling of Shiva 2 well in Waziristan, the well was drilled to 4577 meters.
The Shiva 2 well will produce 0.607 million cubic feet of gas per day, which will improve the country’s gas reserves.
It should be noted that the drilling of the well was started on June 2, 2023.
