Lucky Marwat: Eight people, including women and children, were killed in a house-breaking incident in Pakhtunkhwa’s Lakki Marwat district.
According to the police, the incident took place in Takhtikhel limits of Sarai Norang police station, where unknown armed men entered the house and fired indiscriminately, killing 8 people. The accused fled after the firing.
According to preliminary reports, 2 children and 2 women are also among those killed in the late night firing. On receiving the information, the police team reached the spot and shifted the bodies to the hospital. The law enforcement agencies have started the investigation of the incident by collecting the evidence from the spot.
Police say that initially the incident seems to be a sign of enmity, but investigation has been started keeping in view all possible aspects.
On the other hand, residents of Takhtikhel have announced a protest against the incident.
