The second application against the approval of Shahbaz Sharif's documents in Karachi was also rejected

The conflict of correct information can be seen even after the election, Justice Arshad Hussain

Karachi: The Election Tribunal also rejected the second application against the approval of former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s papers.

In the Sindh High Court, a hearing was held on PTI’s Hasnain Chauhan’s appeal against approving the nomination of former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif before the Election Tribunal comprising Justice Arshad Hussain.

The petitioner’s counsel submitted that Shahbaz Sharif did not affix a valid affidavit in the NA 242 papers. Shahbaz Sharif has made false statements regarding business in the affidavit. Shehbaz Sharif’s papers should be rejected by nullifying the decision of returning.

Justice Arshad Hussain remarked that the conflict of correct information can be seen even after the election. If someone has given wrong information, he can be disqualified even after the election.

The Election Tribunal also rejected the second petition against approval of the papers of former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
