Hearing aid users have lower risk of early death, study

California: According to a new research, if two to four people with hearing problems use hearing aids sparingly, the risk of early death is reduced in them.

According to media reports, the study, published in The Lancet Healthy Longevity journal, analyzed data from 10,000 people, of which more than 1,800 were those with hearing problems.

The results showed that people who used the device occasionally and those who never used it had a higher risk of early death than those who used the device regularly.

“What we found in the study was that the risk of early death was 24 times higher in people who regularly use hearing aids,” said Dr. The percentage decreases.

The study also shows that the reduction in risk was independent of age, race, income, education, medical history and severity of hearing problems.
