Karachi: The Meteorological Department says that a new wave of cold is expected in the city from Tuesday, there is a possibility of a drop in temperature due to stronger than usual freezing winds.
According to the forecast of the Early Warning Center of the Meteorological Department, a new cold wave is expected in the city from Tuesday, during which the cold is likely to increase due to strong northeast/easterly winds. It can fall to 10 degrees.
According to Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz, there is a chain of cold winds behind the recent western system which will affect Karachi, as a result of which the mercury may fall, however, the chances of the temperature being recorded in single digits are low.
He says that another western system is expected to enter Balochistan at the end of this month. According to the Meteorological Department, the city recorded a minimum temperature of 13.5 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 26.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
