Karachi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan presented its manifesto for elections including 3 constitutional amendments on equal access to power, knowledge and law.

Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, head of MQM Pakistan in Karachi, along with other members of the coordination committee told a press conference that the purpose of the struggle of MQM Pakistan is to make the people of Pakistan benefit from the fruits of the country’s democracy.

Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that today we are presenting our political and election manifesto, political and economic crisis together have created an extraordinary situation, the solution of all these crises is possible through democracy.

He said that we believe that in these 50 years the constitution of Pakistan could not protect the rights of the people, Pakistan will be strong when the common Pakistani is strong.

The head of MQM said that the elections to be held on February 8 are going to be held in tense conditions, we have to think that political stability can come from these elections.

Announcing the manifesto, he said that we have proposed three amendments to the constitution, in these amendments we have asked for constitutional protection to strengthen local and urban government, under the second amendment local government departments should be listed in the constitution, third The amendment is that there should be no general elections before the municipal elections.

Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that in the constitutional amendments, the local bodies should also get the authority of the department and general elections should not be held until there is a local government.

He said that the whole world is changing, change the experience, don’t change the laboratory, if you don’t have the ability to change yourself, you will be left behind. 60% of our population is youth, but our youth is not being trained, they should be trained. Should.

Dr. Farooq Sattar said that our manifesto is a new civil pact to treat everyone equally, we have prepared a draft that is a reflection of our motto, a middle class should be considered as an asset instead of a burden.

Farooq Sattar said that these constitutional amendments are indispensable for the development of Pakistan. Electricity load shedding, water cut off are the issues that are pushing the country back.

Dr. Farooq Sattar said that we will take 400 billion rupees for Karachi, complete the circular railway, build 100 new cities in the country, emergency should be imposed in the education and health sector for 10 years.

He said that political parties should form a commission within themselves to eliminate corruption, there should be a fair system of taxes and taxes should be imposed on the vaders, there should be a system of local policing to strengthen local governments.

The leader of MQM Pakistan said that if our children are not getting jobs under the quota system, because of domicile, then fix this system, it should stop being a domicile.
