Lahore: Anti-Terrorism Department arrested 8 terrorists during operations in different cities of Punjab.
According to the officials, CTD raided the hideouts of terrorists in five other districts including Lahore, Sargodha and Multan last night. 8 terrorists belonging to banned TTP and ISIS were arrested in the security operation.
Officials say that the terrorists were arrested on the basis of the information received in the investigation of 36 suspects. The arrested terrorists include Masoodur Rehman, Subhanullah, Sajid Ali, Aziz Khan, Shahid Ejaz and Sharaftullah.
During the security operation, suicide vests, explosives, weapons and bullets were recovered. 7 cases were registered against the terrorists. This week, 483 combing operations were conducted in which 127 suspects were arrested.
