The parents have demanded the Punjab government to take notice.

Rawalpindi: Several private schools opened in Rawalpindi despite the extension of winter vacations by the Punjab government.

Several private schools in the city have flouted the orders of the Punjab government, forcing students to go to school in extreme cold and fog.

Parents, fed up with the arbitrariness of private schools, have demanded the Punjab government to take notice.

It should be noted that the Punjab government had extended the winter holidays in the province till January 9.
