Karachi: Police arrested 3 robbers who stole a truck full of goats and recovered 20 goats.
According to Express News, Saudabad police arrested 3 dacoits Gul Wali, Sohail Ahmed and Salman Ahmed who snatched a truck full of animals at gunpoint with the help of technical basis and CCTV footage and seized three pistols from their possession. 20 goats, vehicle used in the incident, 15 thousand in cash and 2 motorcycles were also recovered.
The arrested accused had stolen a truck full of goats on the National Highway on December 21, 2023. Goats worth 15 lakhs were snatched away from the truck driver by armed robbers. The gang of arrested robbers was very active in looting incidents on Buffalo Colony, Sajawal, Gharo and National Highway.
The robbers would first steal a car or truck full of animals and then stop the car after seeing a deserted place, threaten the driver of the car with weapons and take the car full of animals and run away.
The arrested gang used to use hired vehicles for robbery and looting. The extremely dangerous and active group was arrested by the Saudabad police after tireless efforts. A case has been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.
