Lahore: Parents and daughter died due to fire in the house.
According to Express News, three people were burnt due to a fire in a house in Chohang area of Lahore, Iftikhar Hussain, his wife and daughter are among the burnt people. The three persons were living on the first floor of a five-marla house.
According to the rescue sources, the incident of fire in the house happened around 1 o’clock, the tenants on the ground floor of the house reported the fire to the rescue, the residents of the neighborhood also tried to control the fire by breaking the door, but failed. Due to the narrow streets, the rescuers faced difficulty in controlling the fire.
Rescuers brought water to the scene by connecting a water pipe and brought the fire under control. The three burnt people were sleeping in the same room on the upper floor. The bodies of the three people were shifted to Jinnah Hospital by Edhi ambulance. .
Police say that the cause of the fire could not be determined at present.
