The appeals of the federal government and the FBR against canceling the super tax imposed on various industries have been approved
Islamabad: In the super tax cases, the federal government and the FBR got a big relief from the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court heard the appeal against canceling the super tax imposed on various industries.
The Supreme Court ruled on the appeals of the Federal Government and the FBR against the decision of the Sindh High Court. The Supreme Court ordered all the parties to pay four percent super tax.
Various industries had challenged the super tax imposed in last year’s budget in the Sindh High Court. The Sindh High Court had invalidated the collection of 10% super tax from last year.
The federal government and FBR filed an appeal in the Supreme Court for recovery of super tax, which was accepted and ordered to pay four percent super tax.
