Islamabad: In the light of caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar’s announcement, the administration of the federal capital has issued a notification to cancel all New Year celebrations.
On the government’s announcement to express solidarity with the Palestinians, the Islamabad administration has canceled the NOCs issued for all New Year celebrations.
According to the sources, the permits were canceled on the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, after which the notification of the cancellation of the events was also issued.
