Lahore: In the Northern Cantonment area of Lahore, the capital of Punjab, the mistress had set fire to the housemaid by sprinkling petrol on her for not giving hot water on time, who died during treatment today.
According to Express News, a 40-year-old domestic worker who was injured in the case of torturing and setting fire to a domestic worker in North Cantonment died during treatment.
According to the police, Shabnam was set on fire by her mistress Shazia after she was not given hot water by sprinkling petrol on her. The said incident took place on November 30.

The victim domestic worker had also released a video statement in which she begged the IG to protect her and her family. In the video statement, Shabnam had said that death threats were being given by the accused Shazia, if anything happened, the mistress Shazia would be responsible.
In the said case, the police has detained the accused Naeem, the owner of the house.
