The art show showcased artworks created by 16 talented lady constables, traffic police and dolphin squad men.
Lahore: At the Alhamra Art Gallery, interesting works of art created by the officers of the Punjab Police were exhibited.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar inaugurated the Punjab Police Art Exhibition 2023.
Lahore Chamber of Commerce President Kashif Anwar and National College of Arts Principal Dr. Murtaza Jafri participated in the art exhibition.
In the art show, artworks prepared by 16 talented lady constables of Punjab Police, traffic police and dolphin squad have been kept.
Artworks include captivating calligraphy of Quranic verses, landscape, cityscape, modern and abstract art.
Chief guest Kashif Anwar and Dr. Murtaza Jafari appreciated the works of art created by ladies policemen. More than 58 artworks with decorative themes were well received by other attendees in the exhibition.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar encouraged the lady constables who created artworks and distributed certificates of appreciation.
Dr. Usman Anwar said that attachment to painting, literature or other genres of arts reflects the beautiful personality and constructive thinking of a person.
He said that special attention is given to extracurricular activities during the Lady Recruit Course of Punjab Police, officers and officials with artistic thinking and concern are valuable capital of the department, measures will continue to encourage them.
