Islamabad: On behalf of PTI, an application was filed in the Supreme Court for implementation of the court order related to level playing field.
In the petition filed by Chairman PTI Barrister Gauhar in the Supreme Court, it has been said that on December 22, the Supreme Court had asked that the Election Commission should investigate PTI. The Secretary Election Commission should be instructed to take action against those responsible for not providing a level playing field.
In the petition, it is requested that the arrest of Tehreek-e-Insaaf candidates, workers and leaders be stopped. Apart from this, PTI candidates, proposers, supporters should also be ordered not to harass during the election process.
In the petition filed in the Supreme Court, it has been asked that during the general elections, PTI should be allowed to hold rallies and processions for campaigning. Tehreek-e-Insaaf and its candidates should be given equal coverage in electronic and print media.
