DI Khan's suicide bomber's connection with the Afghan Taliban revealed

DI Khan: The suicide bomber of the Dera Ismail Khan attack has been revealed to be affiliated with the Afghan Taliban.

According to the CTD document related to the suicide attack, the vehicle and engine number 1812461 used in the DI Khan attack have been identified. The engine parts of the vehicle have been sent to the laboratory for a vehicle tampering check, after which the name in which the vehicle is registered will be known soon.

According to the document, Sufatullah Marwat, the terrorist who died in the attack, went to Afghanistan from Torkham border on March 3. Safatullah’s mobile location was Banarasabad Peshawar on March 7, Jamrud District Khyber on March 8. The mobile location of terrorist Safatullah was Dande Darpa Khel Miranshah on 25th April. Safat had registered SIMs of 3 different mobile companies.

The identity card, domicile and other documents of Suftullah, who died in the attack, have been received, according to which Suftullah belongs to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. The father of the suicide bomber confirmed his son’s connection with the Islamic Emirate. A total of 4 terrorists including 2 suicide bombers were killed in the terrorist attack. 6 terrorists involved in the attack belong to Afghanistan.

According to the CTD document, 5 terrorists from the banned TTP Gandapur group were also involved in the attack. The suicide bomber Hasan Afghani alias Shakir had released a video before the attack. US-made weapons and ammunition have also been recovered in the attack.
