At the beginning of the year, the Sindh Police had sent a letter to the Sindh Home Department seeking an additional fund of Rs 50 crore for SSU, Security One, Security Two, Foreign Security Cell, Court Police and Guard Force. .

From the law and order budget of the Sindh government, 10 crore 36 lakh 12 thousand 792 rupees for SSU, 14 crore 87 lakh 80 thousand 297 rupees for security one, 8 crore 98 lakh 6 thousand 960 rupees for security two, foreign 1 crore 13 lakh 4 thousand 918 rupees for the security cell, 3 crore 17 lakh 72 thousand 515 rupees for the court police, 12 crore 47 lakh 12 thousand 525 rupees for the security force were requested.

Similarly, during the year 2022-23, Ghotki, Kashmore and Shikarpur police consumed diesel and petrol worth Rs. 36 crore, 70 mobiles and 17 armored vehicles consumed diesel and petrol worth Rs. 19 crore in Ghotki, 65 police mobiles and 16 armored vehicles in Kashmore. Closed vehicles consumed diesel and petrol worth Rs 7 crore, while 70 police mobiles and 7 armored vehicles of Shikarpur consumed diesel and petrol worth Rs 10 crore.

Despite getting a budget of billions of rupees, the law and order situation in Sindh is not better, the police have not got any success against street crime, extortion, kidnapping for ransom and raw material bandits in the province.
