Islamabad: President Dr. Arif Alvi and Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar had a telephonic conversation, in which both leaders expressed concern over the violence against Baloch protesters.
In the telephonic conversation, the two leaders termed Islamabad Police’s behavior against the Baloch protesters inappropriate and said that the police should not have acted harshly against the protesters.
The Prime Minister informed the President that the arrested protesters are being released on personal bail.

Meanwhile, Governor Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar also met the President and discussed the overall situation of the province, police violence on Baloch protesters.
Governor Balochistan said that the police should have treated the protesters with patience and compassion and should not have overstepped their authority.
Governor Balochistan demanded that the police immediately release the protestors. Both the persons also emphasized on improving the law and order situation in Balochistan.
