Islamabad: Founding Chairman PTI’s request to suspend the decision in the Tosha Khana case was rejected, due to which Imran Khan’s disqualification remains.
According to Express News, the Islamabad High Court has rejected the request of founder chairman PTI to suspend the decision of the Sessions Court in the Tosha Khana case. Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Aamir Farooq and Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri delivered the verdict, after which the chances of the founder chairman PTI to participate in the elections ended.

The court has said in its decision that there is no scope for revising or amending the order of suspension of sentence in the law. The Supreme Court has said that the sentence can be suspended, not the decision. The Supreme Court has made it clear that suspension of sentence does not suspend judgment. PTI founder did not plead for suspension of sentence in the application for suspension of sentence.

It should be noted that the punishment of the PTI founder in the Tosha Khana criminal case is suspended, while if the sentence is annulled, he can participate in the election. The Islamabad High Court has said in its decision that there is no scope for revision or amendment in the order of suspension of sentence in the law. Suspension of sentence does not suspend judgment.
